A rating that means something
Hard questions you get right count for more. Your rating shows how you'd do on a tougher set.
Streaks
Play every day to keep your streak going. Ten questions a day adds up before test day.
Friend challenges
Your link gives a friend the same 10 questions, then shows who won. No spoilers in what you share.
For instructors
Give your class a leaderboard.
Create a free class code and share the link. Your students play the daily challenge as usual, and their scores also count on a weekly board for your class only. Ten minutes of friendly competition a day, without accounts, apps or setup.
Each class also gets a discount on the full web version, for students who want every question and timed practice exams.
Questions
- How is the score worked out?
- Each right answer is worth 100 points plus up to 50 for speed: the full 50 if you answer within 5 seconds, sliding to none at 30 seconds. A wrong answer or running out of time scores nothing. Our server keeps the time, from when a question is sent to when your answer arrives.
- Is it the same for everyone?
- Yes. Everyone playing an exam's challenge gets the same 10 questions that day, from easier to harder. A new set starts at midnight, New York time, and each person gets one try a day.
- What's the rating?
- Every player and every question has a rating that moves after each answer, like a chess rating. Getting a hard question right raises yours more than an easy one, and questions that trip people up become harder ones.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Your browser remembers you. Add a name if you want to appear on the leaderboards; an email is optional and is never shown.
- How do class codes work?
- An instructor creates a class below and shares its link. Students who play through the link get a class leaderboard for the week. There's no cost, and students don't need accounts.
